If you have a large family size then using an air fryer to bake  bread is a great way to achieve a large soft inside texture bread. In addition it requires minimal effort to make. You need an airfryer of more than 4inches basket size.

With a little practice and experimentation, you can master the art of air fryer bread and impress your family and friends with your baking skills.

Air fryer bread is a quick and easy way to make bread without having to turn on your oven. Here is a step-by-step guide to making this delicious family bread in the air fryer:

Ingredients

  • 3 Cups All- Purpose Flour -380g

  • 2 Teaspoons Active Dry Yeast

  • 1 Cup Water or 8 ounces or 240ml ( lukewarm)

  • 2 Tablespoons Sugar

  • 1 Egg

  • 3 Tablespoons melted butter

  • 1 teaspoon Salt ( adjust quantity base on your taste)

  • Directions

    1. In a large mixing bowl, mix together lukewarm water , sugar and yeast.

    2. Add  melted butter and Egg. Mix thoroughy

    3 . Add the flour and salt and combine with a spatula until dough forms.
    4. Knead dough with your hands or a mixer for 2-3mins.

    5. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it rise for 1 hour and 30 minites or until dough increases or doubles in size. preferable in a warm environment.

    6. The dough should increase in size at this step.

    7. Sprinkle a bit of  flour on top of a clean hard surface or baking mat and transfer the dough unto it.

    8. Sprinkle more extra flour on the surface of the baking mat to prevent the dough from sticking on the surface. Fold the dough into a round shape.

    9. Grease the inside of an 8inches baking pan with oil and place the dough  into the greased pan.

    10. Place the baking pan into the air fryer basket and allow the dough to rest again for another 30 minutes in the Air fryer.

     Note:  DO NOT START THE AIR FRYER AT THIS STEP.

    11. Set the Air fryer  at 360F or 180C and air fry for 15 mins. After 15minutes of air frying, remove the bread from the pan and flip (turn bread updside down)

    12. Air fry for 7-10more miutes until the bread is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
    13. Remove the bread from the pan and let cool before slicing and serving.
