Simple Air Fryer Chiffon Cake

This air fryer recipe is about how to bake a simple air fryer vanilla chiffon cake from scratch at home - it's so easy!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all- purpose flour -125 gram

  • 4 eggs

  • 5 tablespoons unsalted melted butter or cooking oil

  •  7  tablespoons whole milk

  • 1/2 cup or 7 tablespoons granulated sugar

  • 1  teaspoon baking powder

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract- (that's the yummy flavour!)

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt ( adjust quantity base on your taste)

  • 1 teaspoon of lemon juice (for a zesty twist)

  • Directions

    1. Preheat the Air fryer to 340°F or 170°C for 5 minutes.
    2. Break the eggs in a large bowl. Add the whole milk and whisk it up.
    3. Add the vanilla extract and give it a good mix.
    4. Time to add dry stuff! Sprinkle the flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt. Mix it all together and let it sit for a while.
    5. In  a separate bowl,beat the egg whites until they look loke soft, fluffy clouds. Slowly add the sugar and keep whisking until everthing is nice an sweet
    6. Mix the egg yolk and flour mixture in the soft egg white mixture. Mix it gently
    7. Grab an 8-inch baking pan. Grease it with oil, place a parchment paper and grease it again. Pour in the cake batter and give it a little tap to get rid og any bubbles. Smoothe out the top with a spatula
    8. Put it in the preheated air fryer at 340 ° F or 170 ° C for 35–40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
    9. Let the cake cool in the pan for 5-10 minutes before removing and transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

    Take it out, serve it, and enjoy it with your favourite tea.
